What does ADU Craft Los Angeles do?

We build four kinds of ADU: detached ADUs, garage conversions, attached ADUs and junior ADUs. Every project includes design and permits, so you deal with one team instead of coordinating a designer, an engineer, a permit runner and a contractor.

Where do we work?

The City of Los Angeles, Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank and Culver City. We are a service-area business: we come to your property, and consultations start with your address. See our service areas.

How do we work?

  • Rules first. We check what your lot allows under state and city rules before any design work.
  • A fixed, written price. After the site visit, you get a written price and schedule before you commit.
  • Plain answers. When something depends on your lot or the city, we say so, and tell you how we will find out.
  • Dated information. Our guides state when each rule and figure was checked, and link back to the agencies behind them.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. ADU Craft Los Angeles is licensed and insured. We provide license and insurance details with every written proposal.

Why ADUs?

As of October 2026, California law makes it far easier to add a home to an existing lot than it used to be: qualifying ADUs are approved without a hearing, side and rear setbacks are capped at 4 feet, and small units are exempt from impact fees. For many Los Angeles homeowners that means rental income, a place for family, or room to age in place, on land they already own. Read California ADU rules 2026 for the details.

Updated October 2026.
